App Makes Brushing A Game

Dental Brushing For KidsDo you remember a couple weeks ago we started talking about how to make brushing fun for you children?  We suggested turning it into a game in past blog posts.  If you want to re-read the post, you can find it here -> “Great Ideas To Make Brushing Your Teeth Fun For Kids”

Well it turns out that this is big business and millennial parents are all about it!  Which is great news because that means getting your children to brush is easy as ever thanks to several companies who have begun to pioneer this idea through technology and apps.

Recently we came across a local news station who covered smart toothbrushes and how they might help to make it fun to brush teeth.  We saw this CBS spotlight.  A company called Grush is pairing brushing your teeth with a smart phone.  The phone shows you how and where to brush and for how long.

Then we found this cool CNET video from the founder of Grush showing off his technology: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A9bRMbp2DM

There are several interesting companies with different approaches to this idea.  Some are for kids and some are even for adults.  Hey, we could all use a little bit more brushing in our lives, right?
